Economy Baseline & Upcoming Wipe

Community Management March 10, 2026 Persistent Universe
Persistent Universe — Economy Division
Database Reset Protocol

Attention Citizens,

As we continue to monitor the in-game economy and prepare for the next major milestone in the Persistent Universe, it has become clear that a full reset is necessary to establish a healthy and stable baseline. Our economic systems team has identified persistent imbalances accumulated over the past several patches, and a targeted wipe is the most effective path forward.

[Warning: Critical Economic Action]
A comprehensive database wipe is scheduled for
March 10, 2026

Wipe Scope

  • All in-game purchased ships and vehicles acquired with aUEC
  • All items and equipment purchased in-game
  • All aUEC (Alpha UEC) wallet balances
  • Stored cargo manifests and commodities
  • Real-money pledge ships and items — unaffected
  • Reputation and organization standings — unaffected
  • Account data, characters and customizations — unaffected

We know a wipe is never the most welcome news, but this crucial step is necessary to flatten the current economic anomalies and ensure a fair, balanced experience for all players moving forward. The new baseline will give our economy designers accurate data to calibrate commodity prices, mission payouts, and ship costs for the upcoming 4.7 update.

Players are encouraged to spend any remaining aUEC before the wipe window. A brief maintenance period will be announced via Spectrum and our official social channels approximately 30 minutes before the servers go offline.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work toward a more polished and persistent universe.

See you in the 'Verse!
